StockChat is your private AI trading workstation. Ask a question in plain English and go from market regime → screen → chart → trade plan → position size → options — every number computed locally, on your data.
StockChat runs the entire chain in a single conversation — and every figure comes from deterministic, unit-tested code, not a hand-wave from the model.
Depth where it counts — the full Dorsey Point & Figure method, a serious market-regime stack, sized trade plans, and live options math.
Signals, 45° trend lines, vertical & horizontal counts, triangles, shakeouts, Bullish Percent Index, sector BPI and relative strength — the whole Dorsey method, in chat.
Five layered sub-models — trend, participation, volatility/stress (incl. VIX term structure), credit & rates, macro & cycle — roll up to a posture and a suggested equity-exposure %.
Scan thousands of names for fresh bullish/bearish P&F signals, breakouts, and fundamentals — ranked, in seconds.
Day (Camarilla + floor + Fib confluence), swing (ATR/structure stops, R-targets) and position plans — with explicit entry, stop and target levels.
Account heat, position & sector caps, correlation checks, and a full/half/quarter Kelly ladder — so every plan is sized to your rules.
Real option chains, 14 strategies, a price×date P/L matrix, breakevens and max P&L — then place limit orders at IBKR (opt-in, off by default).
Candlestick, Renko, multi-year, and comparison charts — plus fresh RSI, MACD, Bollinger, ATR and stochastics computed on the spot.
Track holdings and a watchlist, get a daily what-changed briefing — P&F flips, BPI deltas, sector movers, upcoming earnings.
A local database refreshes daily, repairs itself around stock splits, and the app updates itself with signed, verified releases.
There is no server of ours in the loop. StockChat runs on your PC, keeps its own local database, talks to your own Interactive Brokers gateway, and — if you want — uses your own AI key. Nothing about your positions or plans is uploaded anywhere.

Not investment advice.
No feature tiers, no add-ons. Every capability is in every paid plan — including the AI, so you don't need your own key to start.
No. StockChat runs entirely on your machine with a local database, and connects to your own Interactive Brokers gateway. There is no server of ours holding your data. If you use the included AI, only the text of your question is routed through a metered proxy to the model provider — never your holdings, and never stored.
No — paid plans include AI, so it works out of the box. If you'd rather use your own provider (OpenAI-compatible, or a fully-local model like Ollama), you can point StockChat at it instead. Your choice.
StockChat fetches public market data on your machine and keeps a local database that updates itself daily and self-repairs around stock splits. Data comes from public endpoints and can change without notice; the app updates quickly when it does.
Yes, through your own IBKR gateway — but it's off by default and deliberately conservative: you enable trading explicitly, each order needs your confirmation, and option orders are limit-only. It's a power-user feature, not the headline.
A Windows PC. For live quotes, options chains and order execution, a running Interactive Brokers gateway (TWS or IB Gateway). That's it — it's a single, self-contained app.
No. StockChat is a calculator and decision-support workstation — it computes levels, signals, sizes and scenarios from your data. It does not tell you what to trade, and it makes no performance claims. Every plan carries a not-advice caveat.
